WINFLOW-SR     AE high range water reducer (Retarders Type) KSF 2560


AE high range water reducers (retarders) are chemicals that use naphthalene / lignin as the main ingredients and delay the initial setting of concrete. It decreases the unit quantity of concrete by the dispersion and air-entrainment of cement and without affecting the workability and the long-term strength. In addition, it reduces cost by decrease the rate of hydration of the cement, thus extending setting time and preventing cracks.

USAGE
*
Ready mix concrete plant or Batch plant field 

* Hot weather concrete

* Dam concrete and Mass Concrete

* Long-distance transport and fields where concrete casting is delayed

* General types of construction and civil engineering structures in hot weather,

 

DOSAGE
*
Typical ratios of 0.3% to 0.7% by weight of cement are suggested. Please test concrete to make sure each batch meets the exact specification on site.

* Excessive cement in concrete can be harmful.

 

ADVANTAGES

* The amount of cement is reduced due to the excellent cement dispersion.

* Increased compressive strength due to high water reducing ratio of 13%~18%

* Reduction in drying shrinkage and cracking due to the suppression of heat of hydration

* Delay of the initial setting time (by 1-2 hours compared to regular concrete)

* Delay of transport time in summer and time required for the concrete to be compacted

 

PROPERTIES

* Appearance  : Dark brown liquid

* Specific gravity : 1.200±0.05 (20℃) 

* pH     : 7.0±3.0

* It can be used in parallel with other admixtures, but it is generally used separately in accordance with on-site testing.
